The Campus
The National Law School of India University is located in Nagarbhavi, a suburb of Bangalore approximately around 10 kms from the Bangalore City railway station. The Law School is spread over an 18 acre campus near the entrance to the Jnana Bharti campus from the Nagarbhavi end. The University is fully residential, with complete residential facilities for students and staff. The campus had its first building in 1990 and today it has a main academic block, a distance education block, three boys hostels, three girls hostels, one post-graduate women's hostel, staff quarters and a guest house.
The University has recently added a modern residential training centre. A brand new library building named "Narayan Rao Melgiri Memorial National Law Library" is proposed to be build during the year 2002 with the donation generously made by Ms. Sudha Murthy and the financial assistance from the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
