Lake National Wildlife Sanctuary Demolition of fish tanks/bunds constructed on private land forming part of Sanctuary, but not yet acquired by Government Kolleru lake in A.P. the largest shallow freshwater lake in Asia Prohibition of use or transportation of inputs for aquaculture, pisciculture, prawn and shrimp culture in or to such private lands Permissibility of Wherever pisciculture existed in private land, as on date of notification concerned, fishing by traditional method being permitted without causing environmental hazard, till Government acquired such private lands, and right to do traditional agriculture without using pesticides and chemicals also being permitted, held, said demolition and prohibition are permissible, (2006) 5 SCC 47-B
