— S. 291 — Board of Directors' power to ratify — Managing Director empowered to take decision in respect of employees whose pay did not exceed the limit specified — However, he dismissing an employee whose pay exceeded that limit — Subsequently Board of Directors ratifying the said order of dismissal by raising the limit — In such circumstances, held, the ratification related back to the date of the dismissal order and validated the same, (2006) 5 SCC 96-A
